Vege’ Tomato Passata Bt 680g belongs to the VéGé private-label assortment of Gruppo VéGé, an Italian retail group. The value of the reference is therefore not a premium producer story but access to an Italian-market grocery specification and format that may differ from standard UK equivalents. For restaurants and independent retailers, it can provide a cost-conscious way to broaden an Italian pantry range; ingredient, origin and production claims should follow the exact pack rather than being inferred from the private-label brand. Supplied as a trade case of 12.
